Today is the day for me to show you another creation for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group.
Our challenge this month is:
"EMBOSSING - WET or DRY or BOTH".
This week the Design Team were challenged to "Monochrome".
Here is my inspiration post with that theme.
Crumbs I really struggled with this one, not sure why, as I normally love doing monochrome cards. Whether I picked the wrong colour to use or the wrong image but I got there in the end.
I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Sunshine".
I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and highlighted the centre of the flowers with a light purple glitter glue. I inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Milled Lavender distress ink and used two different Versa Magic chalk ink pads and some dotty stamps to add some texture to the background.
The backing papers I have used are from The Works.
I have finished the card off with two Tonic doily die-cuts which I added Nuvo pearl drops to the largest of the circles in the doily patterned edge, fussy cut flowers from the same papers from The Works and a LOTV digital sentiment.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
