Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "CATS OR DOGS".

Here is my inspiration post with that theme.
For my Egypt-style card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Glowing Dazzle" (it is available in a set along with "Purple Woods", "Winter Watcher" and "Purple Comfort").  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers.

I have used various papers/toppers from my Joanna Sheen Egyptian Adventure CD, Card Creations Egypt CD and my Debbi Moore Egyptian Promise CD for my handmade scrolls and pyramids image.

For the image, scrolls and topper I have torn all the edges and inked with a brown Versamagic ink pad.

For my scrolls I used some kebab sticks and coloured them black with a Promarker.  Once I had rolled up the torn edged paper into the scroll I added beads to the end of the kebab stick.

For the main background I used a postmark stamp and used my toffee Versafine ink pad onto craft card.

I have finished the card off with a stamped sentiment, X-cut punched out flowers with card candi centres and a die-cut sentiment.

The topic for the Facebook April 2019 challenge is
"CATS OR DOGS".

For yet another year I am trying to make Christmas cards throughout the year.  For my Christmas card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik pre-coloured image called "Holly Night".

The backing papers are from my Polkadoodles Here Comes Christmas CD.

I have used a Crafter's Companion Die'sire frame and cut out of black card.  I then added some Imagination Crafts Gold Starlight Wax on top and got a smoother colour by using a wet baby wipe to smooth it out.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 22 March 2019

Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "SPRING/EASTER".

This week the Design Team were challenged to "USE SOME FLOWERS".

Here is my inspiration post with that theme.
For my bright and cheery card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Autumn's Here".  I have coloured her in with my Promarkers and used pearlescent chalks for a delicate background.

I have used some new Sue Wilson octagonal dies that I got from Christmas "from me to me"!!  I used a sunflower stamp and a toffee Versafine ink pad to stamp the sunflowers onto some yellow card before cutting out with the dies.  I then used kraft card for the card base.  Normally I print four images to a page but to make sure the image would fit in the die I printed two images per page so I had a bit of legroom when placing the image before cutting with one of the plain dies.

From some of the backing paper I made with the stamps I cut out the sunflowers, cut between some leaves, inked around with a brown Versa chalk ink pad, shaped and then added brown seed beads to the centre.

I have finished the card off with some greenery die-cuts which I coloured with a bright green Promarker and a die-cut sentiment.

The Promarkers that I have used are:

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Cinnamon, Tan and Caramel
Dress - Pastel Pink, Salmon Pink and Blush
Sunflowers/leaves/other flowers - Lemon, Yellow, Cocoa, Umber, Bright Green, Leaf Green and Antique Pink.

The backing papers I have used are from a monthly freebie from Crafter's Companion from November 2016.

Happy Birthday

Here is a birthday card I have using my Katy Sue Designs Fabulous Shoes CD.

From the CD I used a decoupage sheet and three different backing papers (light blue, burgundy and patterned).

The shoe was a bit fiddly at times and I had to cut foam pads down into small pieces but it was worth it.

I have finished the card off with a die-cut sentiment, ribbon, gems , die-cut greenery and some die-cut flowers cut out from the backing papers using a Robert Addams flower die.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 22 February 2019

Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "VALENTINE'S DAY/LOVE/FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL".

Here is my inspiration post with that theme.
This week I decided to make a card for "someone special".  For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Purple Night Adventure - Grayscale" (which comes in a set along with "Lavender Night Adventure" and "Daisy Night Adventure").  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and created the background with pencils and a Posca white pen.

The backing papers are from The Works.  One of the papers I cut out with a new die from Pretty Quick called "Confetti Stars Panel and Die".  A friend I know used it recently and I loved it and had to have it and the delight was it was in a sale so I only paid £2.70 for it!!!

I have finished the card off with using some of the scraps of paper and stamping out with two different flowers from a Craftwork Cards sentiment set.  Once I had stamped them I cut them out, layered them up and added gems to the centre.

Other finishing touches are two different organza ribbon, some die-cut greenery from a friend, "happy birthday to a special friend" stamped and cut out from the Craftwork Cards sentiment set and finally some more gems.

The Promarkers that I have used are:

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair/flowers - Pastel Green, Duck Egg, Soft Green and Amber
Dog - Ice Grey 1, Ice Grey 2, Ice Grey 3 and some Spectrum Noir pencils
Flowers/Fairy wings - Orchid, Amethyst and Purple
