Happy birthday

I had this card ready as my last post for the Jade's Sparkling Butterflies Challenge Blog but the challenge blog closed down suddenly last week.  We had the sponsor as Sassy Studio Designs so I had made this card using an image I bought previously so I thought I'd post the card on my blog anyway.
For my card I have used an image I had from Sassy Studio Designs called "Dorothy Honey" and I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and chalked the background.

The backing papers were from various magazines.

I have finished the card off with some ribbon, stamped sentiment, flowers cut out of the backing paper and Stickles glitter glue.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Graph'it - Glitter and sparkles OR teal/aqua/turquoise (I could enter for both options as I have Stickles glitter glue for sparkle and have used aqua/teal/turquoise colours on my card)
Brown Sugar Challenge - Anything goes

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 24 June 2016

It is time for me to show you my Inspiration Post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "pearls and lace".
Here is another Pocket Letter I have made with a mermaid/under the sea theme.

If you haven't seen these before pop on over to Janette Lane's Blog for more information - looking there is at your own risk as the making of Pocket Letters is rather addictive!!!!

For my Pocket Letter I have used three images:  A Bunch of Love, Dance of Butterfly and Forever Valentine.  I have coloured the images in with Spectrum Noir pens and inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Peacocks Feathers distress ink.

For the background of the pocket letters I have papers from my stash.

To finish my pocket letter I have used various stamps (one of my favourite sets I have bought in the last few years is the one I have used for the seahorse, shells, fish and sentiments and is from Joy! Crafts), die-cuts and googly eyes.
Behind the Pocket Letter is lots of little goodies for the recipient!!

I am entering this Pocket Letter into the following challenges:

Gruffies and Guest Challenge Blog - June 2016 - Anything goes or the option of "add a number"

Today it is time for me to show you another card for the Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog.

As mentioned before there will be no sponsors for the Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog in 2016.  Instead members of the Design Team will be offering prizes.

This month it is the turn of Shaz to sponsor the challenge.
She is offering the winner a set of rubber stamps and some decoupage.  Now who wouldn't want to win that?
I have used my Joanna Sheen House Mouse Triple CD for this gorgeous image of the mice and frog choir.  I have used the backing paper from the CD but took it into Serif so I could add "50" on it in different typefaces.

I have finished the card off with a tag, twine, lace, sentiment off the computer and some pearls.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 17 June 2016

Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

The week the Design Team have been given the topic of "use some buttons".

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "PEARLS AND LACE".
For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Red Poppies" and I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and chalked the background.

The backing papers from a Design Team friend, Lozzy, who sells digital paper packs.  The set I have used is called "Copper Delight".  These papers have worked well with this femal card but I think they would also be perfect for male cards/vintage/steampunk inspired cards.  With a plain piece of brown card I embossed with a button mask to sit under the image.

I have finished the card off with a stamped sentiment, die-cut buttons with thread put through the middle and some gorgeous ribbon from a crafty friend.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Hazelnut Patterned Paper June Challenge - Anything goes
Sweet Stampin - Lots of layers
The Corrosive Challenge - Lots of layers
