Sorry but I have been MIA for a while.
In the meantime there has been a release in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store:
{ font-family: Arial!important;}
Today is the day for me to show you another creation for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group.
Here is my inspiration post with that theme.
I have decided to make a bright and cheery card this week.
The Ching-Chou Kuik image I have used is called "Love is Fearless" and I have coloured my image in with Promarkers. I have edged the image with Tim Holtz's Picked Raspberry and Dusty Concord distress inks.
The backing papers I have used are from my stash box (there's even a die-cut bit missing underneath the image but that's our secret isn't it?).
I have kept the embellishments quite simple as the card needs to be posted so I have added some pearls, lace and a die-cut sentiment.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Here is my inspiration post with that theme.
For my birthday card I have used scraps of 8x8 card with a blue and green colour scheme so that determined the colours I used on my image.
I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Sakura in March" and I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and edged with a blue chalk ink pad.
I have finished the card off with two doily layers, sentiment from a CD, lace, ribbon, Viva decor pearl drops and some gorgeous little flowers.

Cardz for Galz - Two or more designer papers
Through the Purple Haze - Anything but square

Here is my inspiration post with that theme.
Well I am now six months into my birthday/anniversary card stand. I decorate a tag each month and on the reverse I print off the dates cards are needed and for what. I keep the completed tag in its stand by my computer. I still haven't got around to decorating the actual stand. My thinking is a New York theme as our front room is a New York theme.
For my tag I painted it with white gesso and then sponged on two different blue acrylic paints using little bits of kitchen sponge/scourers chopped up. I then used various stamps of birds, feathers and dots to give more interest to the background.
The Ching-Chou Kuik image I have used is called "Awake in Purple Dream" and I have coloured in with Promarkers and highlighted areas with my black and white gel pens.
As the tag needs to fit in the stand along with 11 others I cannot go "over the top" with embellishments so I have used some torn washi tape, die-cut birds, sentiment printed off the computer and a very small scrap of ribbon.
