Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 23 September 2016

Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "SYMPATHY/THINKING OF YOU/THANK YOU".

This week the Design Team have the topic of "anything goes".
As you can see I have made a Pocket Letter.

I have definitely fallen in love with making these.

I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik images "Little Sparkles", "Little Talks" and "Gentleness".

I have coloured the images in with Promarkers and inked around the edges with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo distress ink.

I have used various stamps for the remaining pocket letter fronts.

I have used a scroll/flower/leaf stencil and spread Dutch Doobadoo texture paste through it.  When I moved off the stencil I sprinkled some brown glitter on top.

These pocket letters have been finished off with flowers cut from some backing paper, brads, lace, ribbon, punched leaves, die-cut sentiment and a wooden snail and ladybird embellishment.
Here are the back of the pockets which include buttons, charms, flowers, wired leaves, stamp, die-cut leaves, gems, pearls and the most important part, the letter.

I am entering this pocket letter into the following challenges:

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 16 September 2016

Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "SYMPATHY/THINKING OF YOU/THANK YOU".

For this week the Design Team were challenged (well and truly for some of us!!) to the topic of white-on-white ie everything has to be white except the image that has been coloured in.
For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Dandelions Glow" and I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers, highlighted the dandelions with Stickles glitter glue and edged the image with Tim Holtz's Stormy Sky distress ink.

With the card being white-on-white I have used the same make of white card for everything on the card.  One layer is embossed with a Crafter's Companion Textures embossing folder, another layer is embossed with a dandelions embossing folder and I have repeated the pattern acrosse the card and highlighted the dandelions with glitter and butterflies die-cut with two layers for dimenion and glitter added.

I have finished the card off with a stamped sentiment, white ribbon, buttons, pearls and lace.

Guest Designer for CCC Digi Creations Challenge Blog

I was recently asked if I would be a Guest Designer for the CCC Digi Creations Challenge Blog and of course I jumped at the chance.
Angie's Digital Stamps are the sponsor for the challenge of "3 of a kind".
I was given Angie's Digital Stamps "Little Lila with a Candy Cane" so I have made a traditional red and green Christmas card.

I have coloured my image in with Promarkers (note to self - as Christmas is looming fast I need to get some more of my red combination Promarkers or they'll run out on me and I haven't got any to replace them!!) and used Pan Pastels for the background.

The striped and candy cane backing papers I have used are from my Debbi Moore Santa Claus 2 CD-Rom.

For the challenge of "3 of a kind" I have used 3 different ribbons (extra wide wine organza, wide gold organza and a red/gold satin ribbon) and I have also triple embossed 3 candy canes from the backing paper, cut out and used as an embellishment.

I have finished the card off with a sentiment.

Thank you to Claudia and every at CCC Digi Creations for having me as your Guest Designer.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
