Calendars for 2019

For fourteen of my work colleagues I decided this year not to make Christmas cards.
Instead I made them all a handmade calendar with a sticky note dispenser.
It took me a few months to make them all from my own template I made a few years ago.
The backing papers I have used are all scraps from my scraps folder.
A few of the toppers are from a Hunkydory topper set and the rest are from various Debbi Moore Inspiration Magazines.
The calendars were all then decorated some with Stickles glitter glue, ribbon, doilies and die-cut embellishments.

Overall they were well appreciated.

I am entering these calendars I have made into the following challenges:

The Crafty Addicts - Anything goes with the option of its a purrfect day (two of the calendars were made with Hunkydory cat toppers)
Crafting by Designs - Anything goes
A Perfect Time to Craft - Anything goes

Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps and Inspiration Blog - Post by Kym - Monday 17 November 2014

It is Monday again and therefore time for another Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration Post from me.
I decided to make a calendar for 2015.  Yes, 2015 will soon be upon us.  For my calendar I have used a new release to the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store called "Love".  Isn't she a beauty?
I have coloured my image in with my Graph'it pens and coloured around her with my Pan Pastels.  I decided to make the calendar in the form of a cross-over card with the image on a tag.
All the backing papers are from my stash and I kept to the colour scheme of pink and cream.  I have inked around the image and all the papers with Tim Holtz's Victorian Velvet distress ink.  I have finished the card off with some punched flowers, gems, ribbon/fibres, 10mm pink gingham ribbon from Buckwell Craft Supplies, 25mm Veletta pink textured ribbon from Buckwell Craft Supplies and a calendar tab.
Here is a close-up of the calendar stood up - certainly wasn't easy to take the photo!!
Here is the back of the calendar.  Well you can't leave it just plain can you?  I've used a Marianne Designs embossing folder and matching die and I have used a Sizzix die-cut stand.

I am entering this calendar into the following challenges:

Brown Sugar Challenge - Anything goes
Creative Fingers - Anything goes
Lia Stampz - Anything goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything goes and optional twist to use the word hello in any language because 21/11 is World Hello Day!

Bearly Mine Designs - Inspirational Post November 2014 - By Kym

Inspiration & Challenge Blog
The Bearly Mine Challenge is now a monthly challenge and in between that time you will see every two days an inspirational project from a member of the Bearly Mine Design Team.

Today it is my turn to show you an inspirational project for the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenge Blog.
Here is a little easel calendar and post-it note holder I have made.  You can't always afford to get everyone you want to a present but to make something like this that they can use throughout the year will mean so much to the recipient.  The image I have used is a pre-coloured topper from LOTV.

For my calendar/post-it note holder I have used the Bearly Mine design sets called "Mini Dots" and "Mixed Media 2".

If you lift the cover with the calendar on it you will see the post-it note pad which of course can be replenished throughout the year.

I have finished this project off with a Tim Holtz doily die which I have inked with Tim Holtz's Fired Brick distress ink and threaded some gorgeous red satin ribbon through, some cream flowers which I have brushed with the Fired Brick ink and some gems for some sparkle.

I am entering this project into the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly - 2 or 4 legs
Inspiration Destination - Anything goes
Word Art Wednesday - Anything goes
Nutcrafters - Anything but a card
Creative Fingers - Anything goes
Allsorts - Anything but a card
The Ribbon Girl - Red projects
613 Avenue Create - Anything goes and optional twist to use the word hello in any language because 21/11 is World Hello Day!

The Pink Elephant - Anything but a card

Easel Calendar and Post-it Note Holder

Christmas time can be expensive.  You might want to give lots of people presents but can't afford it.  I think then these calendar and post-it note holders are the perfect idea.  I've seen various ideas across Blogland but I had a go at devising my own.  If anyone wants to know the measurements etc/how to make it just let me know.
For my first calendar/post-it note holder I have used this gorgeous image by Ching-Chou Kuik called "Little Sparkles".  I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens and made the background of the image with a pink and purple Pan Pastel.
The backing papers I have used are from Creative Crafting World "Perfect Papercrafting Companions" CD.
I have taken the picture above so you can see where the post-it note lives ie under the calendar.

This calendar/post-it note holder has been finished off with some die-cut leaves, raffia ribbon, grosgrain ribbon, bought flowers, faux stitching, white gems, die-cut flowers and a Prima butterfly (which was originally a peach colour but I coloured it with my Graph'it pen).
The image I have used for this second calendar/post-it note holder is by The Stamping Chef and is called "Stacey "Spec"tacular".  Again I have coloured with my Graph'it pens.

The backing papers I have used are from the Creative Crafting World "Mix and Match" Cd which I think was maybe an exclusive CD for Create and Craft.
The picture shows again where the post-it notes live.

I have finished this calendar/post-it note holder off with some dew drops, tissue paper flower (made with 10 layers of turquoise blue, 10 layers of white, alternated and scrunched up and held together with a brad), gingham ribbon bow and a handbag charm.

I am entering these two projects into the following challenges:
