Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 21 October 2016

 Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "HALLOWEEN/SOMETHING SPOOKY".

This week the Blog Design Team have been challenged to "anything goes" so here is my inspiration post with this theme.

For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Blue Pumpkin" and I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and used Pan Pastels for the background.

I cut a piece of corrugated card and painted with Imagination Crafts Starlights paint and then adhered to a card blank.

The backing papers I have used from Summertime Designs.

I have finished this card off with a die-cut spider and pumpkin, spider ribbon, ticket sentiment and card candi.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 14 October 2016

Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "HALLOWEEN/SOMETHING SPOOKY".

This week the Blog Design team have been challenged to "use die-cuts" so here is my inspiration post with this theme.

I decided to make a piece of altered art.  I painted an empty wine bottle with Imagination Crafts Starlights blue and silver paints.  I then added some Dutch Doobadoo texture paste through a Dutch Doobadoo stencil and left to dry.  I then dabbed over the blue Starlight paint over the raised area.  The Starlight paints gave the bottle such a sparkle.

The Ching-Chou Kuik image I have used is called "The Serene Night" and I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and fussy cut out.

For the die-cut elements of the challenge I have die-cut lots of handmade flowers, shells and greenery and I have stuck these on and painted with Starlight paints.

I have finished the bottle off with some decorative silver mesh, organza ribbon bow, pearls and dew drops.

Another Thank You Card

Here is another thank you card I had to make.  This time the recipient is a male.  

I have used a rubber stamp that I have had from a company which is now Chocolate Baroque of this stunning lighthouse scene.  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and highlighted areas with my white Posca pen.

The backing papers are from my beloved Crafty Individuals seaside pad.

For some texture I have finished the card off with some twine and a charm and then finally a stamped sentiment has been added.

Have a Rocking Time!

Here is a birthday card I have made using a design sheet, backing paper and decorated insert from my Debbi Moore Rock n Roll CD.

As this card needs to be posted I have had to keep the embellishments to a minimum but I am hoping the male recipient likes it.  Fingers crossed x

I need to make a few thank you cards so here I am showing you my first card.  For my card I have used a gorgeous topper sheet from a Debbi Moore magazine.

The papers are from my stash and I have added a cream Nuvo pearl dot to some of the dots on the paper.

I have finished the card off quite simply with some satin ribbon and some flowers.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 7 October 2016

  Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "HALLOWEEN/SOMETHING SPOOKY".

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

 For my card I have used one of my all time favourite Ching-Chou Kuik Halloween images called "Halloween Trio".  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and used Pan Pastels and ink for the background.

The backing papers I have used are from Summertime Designs.  I have used some Clearly Besotted Halloween stamps to add the "BOO" and bird to the backing paper and image.

I have finished the card off with some raffia ribbon (this was originally purple but I paint with Hobbycraft gold acrylic paint), black fibres, ticket sentiment, buttons, Sue Wilson Finishing Touches Greenery (I die-cut out of silver mirri card and coloured with orange/green/brown Promarkers) and some die-cut black/gold tissue paper flowers.

Today is a very special day as it is the 2nd Blog Anniversary of the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge Blog.

There are some Design Team members that we have sadly lost, some Design Team members that have joined in the recent year and some that have been on the 2 year journey that we have been on.  Thank you to you all.
