Debby has done her normal challenge for us to pick our 5 favourite Christmas cards. This challenge - and it certainly is a challenge - is to pick our favourite FIVE creations of 2014. It's not been easy but I have gone for the following.
FIRST CHOICE
My first creation I have picked is a coffee tin that I decorated and made into a holder for a bottle of glue for a friend. My original post can be found here. The image I used was from Sweet Pea Stamps and it is "Misty Allure" by Ching-Chou Kuik.
SECOND CHOICE
Here is an easel post-it note holder and calendar that I designed myself. It is using an image from The Stamping Chef. You can find my original post here (and if you want to see the post with the instructions it can be found here)
THIRD CHOICE
THIRD CHOICE
My third choice is on the "darker side" and this is something I made as part of the Delicious Doodles Design Team. Sadly the Delicious Doodles/Delicious Darkness Stores are closing today due to the new EU VAT laws and therefore the Challenge Blogs are closing. My original post for this exploding box which took a long time to make can be found here.
FOURTH CHOICE
In 2014 I was lucky enough to gain a place on Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Design Team. I soon progressed from a Design Team Member to a Design Team Leader for the Challenge Blog. We are a very lucky Design Team as we get to work with such amazing images by Ching-Chou Kuik. This is a card and matching box that I made for a special friend. My original post can be found here.
FIFTH CHOICE
In the summer I was lucky to win a month Guest Designer slot with the Graph'it Design Team. I love my Graph'it pens and therefore had to apply and was so pleased to win a place. I had this blank calendar for a few years so I decided to make a calendar. It took a long time as I coloured in all the images prior to making up the pages. Roll on tomorrow when my calendar can come out and start being used. My original post showing this calendar can be found here.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my favourite five creations for 2014. Yes I could have included lots and lots more but I have been very disciplined.
If you fancy playing along pop on over to Debby's Blog to read all about it.
Mynn over at the blog "On a Stampage" is also asking for people to link up their favourite creations of 2014. I hope she likes the ones I have picked.
Happy New Year everyone.
