Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Monday 6 March 2023

The Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group challenge for March 2023 is "ALWAYS ANYTHING GOES".

Here is my inspiration post.

For my Easter card for a friend I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Spring Clover".

I have used the partially coloured image and for the rest of the image I have it in with Promarkers.  For the background I have used my Pebbles Inc pearlescent chalks.

The backing papers I have used are from Hunkydory and Debbi Moore.

I have finished the card off with a stamped sentiment, some lace, die-cut flowers with pearl drop centres and some die-cut leaves.

Easter Wishes

Here is an Easter card I have made using an image from CraftsUPrint by Karen Wyeth called "Bella's Easter Wishes".  Now who could not resist this little dog dressed up as a bunny? 

I have used the main topper, decoupage and extra butterflies from the digital kit.

The backing papers are from The Works and Hobbycraft.

The card is finished off very simply with some pink pearls.

Happy Easter

Over at the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog the topic this week is "Let it be Spring".  Spring to me means the arrival of new flowers/animals, the change in the weather (fingers crossed x) and also Easter so I have picked this beautiful girl playing with her bunny friend for an Easter card.

For my card I have use a pre-coloured image from The Paper Shelter called "Enchanted Dancing".  In this set you get a black-and-white image and a coloured image.  For my card I have used the coloured image and printed it out twice so that I could decoupage the image.  It was a bit fiddly in some areas to cut out but well worth it to add some more dimension.  I stamped the background of the image with a Stamp Addicts cloud die and a See D's dotty stamp.

The backing papers I have used are from Do Crafts.

I have finished the card off quite simply with some wide lace, sequins, stamped sentiment and some Easter eggs stamped and cut out of scraps from the backing paper used.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Monday 1 March 2021

Today is the day for me to show you my creation for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group.

Our challenge this month is:

"EASTER or FLORAL".

Here is my inspiration post with that theme. 

For my Happy Ester card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Sweet Christmas".  I like images that are multi-functional and although the flowers should be poinsettias they could be any flower for any time of the year.

I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and inked the background with Tim Holtz's Speckled Egg distress oxide and Tumbled Glass distress ink.

The backing papers are from The Works.

I have cut out a tiny doily with flower around the edge.  As I had used a double-sided piece of card I used an embossing tool on the flowers but used the colour from underneath and added Nuvo pearl drops to the centre.

I have finished the card off with a stamped sentiment, flower made by a friend in Canada and some John Lockwood greenery.

Happy Easter Everyone

 We are going through serious uncertain times with the coronavirus.  I just wanted to make a bright and cheery card to say "Happy Easter" to my family, friends and people around Blogland/Facebook.

I recently won a Polkadoodles challenge and got to pick an image as my prize.  I came across "Helga Hippo" when I was choosing a Design Team image for the end of May.  Isn't she just a cutie?  I have used the Polkadoodles image "Helga Hippo - Sitting Pretty".

I have coloured her in with Promarkers and chalked the sky and used a new stencil to add the sun's rays shining down on Helga.

The backing papers are from The Works.

I have finished the card off with some stamped and fussy cut Easter eggs (I used scraps of the floral paper and the orange paper to stamp on - waste not, want not), stamped sentiment, purple seam binding ribbon, pink ric rac ribbon, John Lockwood Cornflower die-cut flowers, Sue Wilson greenery die-cut from green card and the flowers were finished off with some rather gorgeous gems a friend sent me from Holland.

Despite everything I hope you can all manage a Happy Easter.  Special wishes to those that have poorly loved ones and ALL of the people that are still working during this pandemic.

Happy Easter

For this bright and cheery Happy Easter card I have used this beautiful image from Bugaboo Stamps called "Scene It - Easter".  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers.

The patterned papers are from a pad from The Works.

For the mount under the image I have stamped a piece of red card with a red Versafine ink pad and an Easter egg stamp.

I have finished the card off quite simply with some gems and some spotty organza ribbon.

New Design Team Member for the A Perfect Time to Craft Open Challenge Blog - April 2020 Challenge

I am super excited to let you all know that I am a new Design Team Member for the "A Perfect Time to Craft Open Challenge Blog".

Anne and all the Design Team have made me feel very welcome.

This month the sponsor for the challenge is "The Hungry JPEG".

 The Design Team received the bundle "The February Spring Bundle" to use.  

At the time of typing this post up this bundle cost $29.  Believe me it was so worth it for the amount of beautiful images/fonts/papers etc that you got in it.

The topic for April's challenge is the always "ANYTHING GOES" and you are allowed an unlimited amount of entries into the challenge so what are you waiting for?

Onto my first card as part of the Design Team.

I decided to make a wall hanger for Easter.  When I saw these cute bunnies I HAD to use them.  I then came across an Easter basket and Easter basket backing paper and decided I would make an Easter basket full of flowers along with the Easter bunnies and Easter eggs.

From the "February Spring Bundle" I used items from the following kits:  Rabbits Clipart (rabbits), Spring Meadows Graphics Set (Easter basket, Easter basket backing paper and greenery), Watercolour Peony and Lavender (peonies) and Pink Peonies Clipart (peonies).

I cut two each of the bunnies out and repeated lots of the flowers so that I could decoupage the hanger.

For the first patterned paper I used a Phill Martin Chrysanthemum stencil I got for Christmas from a friend and inked it through with Tim Holtz's Spun Sugar distress ink.

I have finished my wall hanger off quite simply with a computer generated sentiment and some curled wire to hang the wall hanger.

A friend bought me two Gemini border dies so I have used this flower and butterfly on and inked over the embossing with my Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge distress ink.

Happy Easter With Love

Over at the CD Sunday Challenge this fortnight the challenge is "rabbit, rabbit" so I thought I would play along.

For my Happy Easter card I have used a backing paper and design sheet from my Joanna Sheen Happy Hoppers and Gruffies CD.  I love this CD as there are so many cute bear images and of course super cute bunny images.

For my Easter card I have used a design sheet and a backing paper and teamed it up with some card from my stash.

I have finished my card off with a pink satin ribbon, blue grosgrain ribbon, sentiments off the design sheet and three rather cute foam Easter egg embellishments I got from The Works last year.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 10 March 2017

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps image called "Fantasy Easter Ocean".  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers.

For my card I have used a DoCrafts freebie Easter paper set so my image has been coloured in to match this papers.  All the papers have been distressed with my Tim Holtz distressing tool and inked with a blue chalk ink pad.

I have finished the card off with some doodling, dotty ribbon (the ribbon originally had a white background but didn't seem to match so well so out came my Promarkers and hey presto it matches perfectly), some foam Easter embellishments from The Works that have been coloured with my Promarkers to match, a stamped sentiments and gems.
