Newsflash - New release in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store

There has been a new release in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store whilst I have been away:
This image is called "Hydrangea in bow".
Today also sees the arrival in Ching-Chou Kuik's Etsy Store of two new images in the "Dollie Stamps" range:
This image is called "Rose Bride Dollie".
This image is called "Hydrangea Dollie".

Aren't they both gorgeous?

The Monthly Blog Challenge for April 2015 is "Under the Sea".  If you fancy being a Guest Designer for a month please put "GDT" after your name or add a comment in the comment box at the bottom of the challenge post.  The Guest Designer will get to pick an image from the store to make their creation with.

Don't forget that if you use a Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp from her Etsy Store you get two entries into the Blog Challenge.  For the first link-up use your blog post and for the second link-up just do your main blog.
Make sure you pop on over to the blog regularly as you get daily inspiration posts for weeks 1, 2 and 3 from members of the Design Team.  For weeks 4 (and 5 if there is one) there are Showcased cards to be shown and these will be people that have entered the monthly blog challenge, shown creations on the Facebook Group or entered creations into the monthly Facebook challenge.

There is an Inspiration and Monthly Challenge Blog.  Here you will find a challenge topic for each month.  
There will be a Monthly Blog Challenge Winner who will get to pick two digital images as their prize from the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store.  This winner will be picked by Random.org.
There is also a Monthly "Artist's Choice Award" and this means that anyone that has entered the Monthly Blog Challenge using an image from Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Etsy Store will be in with a chance of winning 5 digital images of their choice award.  This winner will be picked by Ching-Chou Kuik herself.

Buckwells Crafty Challenge - Mid Month Inspiration Post

Over at the "Buckwells Crafty Challenge" we have started to give you inspiration posts now throughout the month.

The challenge topic for the Buckwells Crafty Challenge for April 2015 is a colour challenge using the following colour scheme:

Our sponsor this month is Lacy Sunshine.
For my card I have used the Lacy Sunshine image called "Emily Rainy Day".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, added Glossy Accents for the puddles and rain spots and added the ground and sky with Pan Pastels.

The backing papers were printed off before sadly Bearly Mine Designs had to close down at the end of 2014.

I have finished the card off with some some wide wired ribbon, die-cut and stamped sentiment, grosgrain ribbon, flowers and some dew drops.

Sadly Lozzy has had to close Buckwell Craft Supplies.  The good news is that the Buckwell's Crafty Challenge WILL CONTINUE.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog - Kym's Inspiration Post - Monday 20 April 2015

Well it has quickly whizzed around to Monday again and therefore it is time for me to show you my Inspiration Post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "under the sea".  It would be lovely if you could take part.
For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp called "Yorkshire Terrier".  He is so adorable.  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers.

The backing papers were from a Monochrome Set from Scribble and Scrap.  For the trees background I used a new Memory Box stencil I got with a Christmas voucher and it is called "Garden Birch Trees".  I secured the stencil and then used Dutch Doobadoo stencil paste through it, took the stencil off, sprinkled over some black glitter and left to dry.

The card has been finished off with some white satin ribbon, black lace, organza ribbon bow, Craftwork Cards sentiment and some pearls.
