It is the first day of the month and therefore time for another challenge over at the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenges Blog. This month the topic is "let's go digital". This could mean using digital papers, a digital image or maybe creating something digitally like using Serif or My Craft Studio. The choice is down to you!!!
For my card I went with a summery theme and I have used this gorgeous image by Conie Fong that I coloured in just after Christmas when I got some new aqua/turquoise Graph'it pens. It's now nearly six months on so she's been waiting long enough to be made into a card!! The image is called "Little Blossom" and is available from Sweet Pea Stamps as a digital image or a rubber stamp.
I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens and inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo distress ink.
The backing paper I have used for the card is from the Bearly Mine Designs Mixed Media and I have gone for a gorgeous blue to match colours I used in the little girl's outfit months ago. I have inked around the edge of the papers with Vintage Photo distress ink.
I have finished the card off with a Tim Holtz clock die, border die-cut that has been sewn onto a piece of ribbon that I coloured with my Graph'it pen to match, flowers, cheesecloth, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and some die-cut birds and butterflies.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
