Crafty Ann's Challenge No 30

Another fortnight has whipped around and it's time for another challenge over at Crafty Ann's.  The challenge this fortnight is "anything goes".

My card I used one of Ann's masks, making it into two different sizes, one for the front and one for the inside of the card.  I then paper pieced the image.  I used some gold mirri card but also used two of the mottled stone backing papers, a red/gold and a beige coloured one.  This card involved a lot of cutting out, laying things out to see if they worked, changing things/re-printing when things didn't work but I got there in the end to make this pop-up card so that the mask pops out of the mddle of the inside of the card.  The card has been finished off with lots of Stickles, gems, feather, buttons, peel-offs, Crafty Ann's ticket sentiment, handmade flower with a gem brad centre (made with my Cricut and distressed with Tim Holtz's Fired Brick distress ink pad) and a ribbon bow.  Bit more glitzy than my normal cards but that's part of a challenge isn't it?

This card also fits the following challenges:

Lots to do - Glitz
If the Shoe Fits Scrap It - Texture
Craft Your Days away - Punch it
Crafty Emma - Anything goes but Christmas
Mark's Finest Papers - Paper piecing
One Stitch at a Time - Surprise us
I Did it Creations - Creative folds
Crafty Catz - Your choice - you can pick a previous challenge topic - I've used Challenge 49 which was paper piecing
Bunny Zoe's - Sparkle and shine
The Character Cafe - Shiny material like foil or glitter paper, anything that has a mirror-like finish
Creative Card Crew - Anything goes
Stampin' Royalty - Paper as the feature and bling - I have used lots of paper for matting and layering and also used the same paper for the mask and the paper piecing - hope this is OK
Crafty Sentiments - Anything goes
Ai Factory - Anything goes
Some Odd Girl - 2 types of bling - Stickles glitter and gems for me

You've done a fantastic job with this Kym. Who ever receives this card will feel special indeed! I've never thought of paper piecing the masks but I think I'll have to give it a go, thank you for the inspiration my friend! I hope you're feeling a little better now.
