I have made this card using a owl freebie from GTC. He's a cute little owl sitting on a branch with a heart on his body so I thought this appropriate for a Valentine's Day card. I have coloured him in with Promarkers and used a selection of my new Distress Inks to distress the Nestie shape and add a bit more to the already distressed paper which was in the "to be used" box on the dining room table. I have decoupaged up some of the circles on the paper, colour some new lace that was white with an orange honeycomb Promarker as I thought it blended better, did some doodling and strange layout of the card and hey presto the card was made.
This card will fit the following 17 challenges (updated Saturday 6-2-10 - I have been informed that my mathematics went a bit wrong last night and it's 19 challenges and not 17 - who'd have thought I'd got "O" Level Maths????):
