Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Monday 16 October 2023

Sadly we have ended the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Monthly Challenge due to lack of entrants.

Instead the Design Team members will be posting three cards/projects each month on the Facebook Group for inspiration on what you could make with Ching-Chou Kuik's amazing images.

Here is one of my inspiration posts.

For my final journal page this month I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "July Moon".  I cannot see she is in the shop at the moment in a black-and-white format but she is available here as a greyscale option which is just as amazing.

The backing paper is from my stash and I have stamped with a cloud stamps and crackle stamp to add some depth.  I then stamped on the word "BOO" twice.

I have finished off the page with a piece of ribbon, a stamped sentiment and a die-cut witch.

Here is one of my inspiration posts.

For my second journal page this month I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Big Pumpkin" and coloured in with Promarkers and coloured the background with chalks.

The backing paper is a scrap from my stash and I have inked the edges with a large web stamp and some bats and added die-cut web corners to the top of the page.

I have finished the page off simply with a stamped sentiment and some die-cut pumpkins.

Here is one of my inspiration posts.

As we do not celebrate Halloween much here in the UK I have decided to make journal pages so I get the joy of looking at them over and over again.

For today's journal page I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp called "Halloween Trio".

I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and inked around the edge with a white chalk ink pad.

I have created the main backing paper by inking a piece of watercolour card with Tim Holtz's Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire distress ink and then stamped around the edge with a web stamp.  The other two backing papers are scraps from my stash and I have inked around these with the same white chalk ink pad.

I have finished the page off with a die-cut ghost and some stamped sentiments.

Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Monday 18 April 2022

Today is the day for me to show you another creation for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group.

Our challenge this month is:

"FOUR LEGGED FRIENDS".

Here is my inspiration post with that theme.
For my Halloween card - well I couldn't resist as it is a long time until October!!  I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Dark Moon".

I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink.  I then used Tim Holtz's Frayed Burlap and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Sprays and Faded Jeans Distress Ink.  I have also used the same colour sprays/ink to stamp bats/splats and dots onto the background.

I have finished the card off with some die-cut bats, ribbon and Polkadoodles sentiments.

For my Halloween card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Autumn Moon".  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers.  I have used a texture stamp and a splat stamp on the back ground.

The backing papers are from my stash/scraps left over from Halloween cards last year.  

I have finished my card off with some Polkadoodles digital sentiments and some die-cut witches.

I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, used my black/white/blender Pan Pastel for the background and inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Black Soot distress ink.

The backing papers I have used are from Tattered Lace (green skull paper) and Docrafts (black/orange striped paper and purple bats paper).  I have edged all of the papers with Tim Holtz's Black Soot distress ink.

I have finished the card off with some purple webbing ribbon, black grosgrain ribbon, purple satin ribbon, die-cut bats edged with white Versa Magic chalk ink pad and some black pearl drops.

For my Halloween card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Dark Moon".

I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and highlighted the moon with my Sakura stardust gel pen.

The backing papers are from Docrafts (black/purple striped paper) and Sizzix (black/purple wide striped paper).

I have finished the card off with some washi tape, stamped sentiment, die-cut glitter splats, witches and bats (and the witches and bats have been edges with a white Versa Magic chalk ink pad).

For my Halloween card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Hallo' Owlie" and coloured the image in with Promarkers and used Pan Pastels for the background.

For my backing papers I have used just plain card and stamped one with bats and one with cobwebs.

I have finished the card off with a bat ribbon, card candi and a die-cut bat.

Here is a Halloween card that I have made using the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Big Pumpkin".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and fussy cut around the edge.

The backing papers are from my stash.  I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz's Dusty Concord distress ink and then stamped with Black Soot distress inks spider's webs and spiders.

I have finished the card off with some embroidery twine, die-cut splats and witch and a LOTV digital sentiment.

The Promarkers that I have used are:

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair/pumpkin - Gold, Orange and Bright Orange
Dress/hat/wings/tights - Amethyst, Orchid, Purple
