Lemon Shortbread Challenge - Tuesday 19 December 2017

 It is time for another challenge over at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.

This is our last challenge of 2017.

The theme is "anything goes".

For my birthday card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "Star Wand".  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and stamped around the image with star, dots and script stamps.

The backing papers I have used are from my stash.  I have also added a piece of vellum attached with two brads.

I have finished the card off with a Crafty Creations sentiments, seam binding ribbon, dotty grosgrain ribbon and some sequins.

Hair/Boots - Ice Grey 1, Ice Grey 2, Ice Grey 3 and Warm Grey 4.

Here is an 8x8 card I have made using some Joanna Sheen House Mouse decoupage.  Aren't these three characters cute?

I have used backing papers from a The Works paper pad.

I have finished the card card off with two die-cu poinsettias with glitter centre, die-cut holly, doily. Nuvo red pearl drops for the berries and sentiments off the decoupage sheet.

Father Christmas

Here is the card I made for my husband for Christmas.  He works hard but then has lots of work to do in the house as I can't do it because of my health so he deserved a special card.

I have used my Debbi Moore Santa Claus II CD and used a decoupage sheet and backing papers from the CD.  I have decoupaged up the images and added Polar White to Santa's fur on his hat, coat and trousers.

I have finished off the card with some hessian, sentiment made on the computer and die-cut and some hearts and banners from from cork.

Colour Crazy Challenge Blog - Guest Designer - Friday 15 December 2017

  It is time for another challenge over at the Colour Crazy Challenge and I have made a Christmas card in my role as Guest Designer.

 The sponsor for this weeks' challenge is "Melonheadz Illustrating".

The theme for this week is "anything goes".

 Well I decided to go "all out" with this Christmas card by using FOUR images from Melonheadz Illustrating from the set "Christmas Clip Art - Junk Drawer - Black and White".  I have used the following images:  Father Christmas, Mrs Christmas, Dog and the Snow globe.

I decided to make an 8x8 inch card and took the snow globe into Serif and made it that size.  I then added in Father Christmas, Mrs Christmas and the dog and added the words "happy Christmas" to the bottom.  I printed off a second image of Mrs Christmas so I could decoupage her up.

I coloured all the images with Promarkers.  For the background I used various stamps and brushed on some mica powder for some sparkle.  I finally added some glitter glue to the background.

I have finished the card off with a decorated inside, ribbon and button.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 15 December 2017

  Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

 For my card I have use the Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp called "Aurora Woods".  I have coloured my image in with my Promarkers and added white dots for snow.

Merry Christmas

Recently in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store there was the arrival of some pre-coloured images which Ching-Chou Kuik has coloured in herself.  You can use these as toppers, as decoupage or whatever you like.

For my Christmas card I have used the pre-coloured image called "Aurora Woods" (it is in Winter Holiday Set 1 and comes with Holy Venice Night and Holly Fairy).

The backing papers I have used are from my Polkadoodles Here Comes Christmas CD.

I have finished the card off with some laced threaded with a velvet ribbon threaded through it, Crafty Creations die-cut sentiments, glittery bought poinsettia and some pearls.

Lemon Shortbread Challenge - Tuesday 5 December 2017

  It is time for another challenge over at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.

The theme is "anything goes".

For my card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "Rainbow Unicorn".  I love unicorns so I had to use this image.  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, used Pan Pastels for the sky and added Stickles glitter glue to the fairy's wings.

The backing card I have made myself using some different distress oxide inks and then added on top some very light purple acrylic paint.

I have finished the card off with a stamped sentiment, ribbon and some gems.
