I recently won a challenge that was sponsored by "The East Wind" and got to pick some images as my prize. What a decision but when I came across this gorgeous reindeer I had to have him. I thought he'd be perfect for some little girls to accompany a gift card of cheque for Christmas. The image I have used is called "Aurora - Reindeer". I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and added Polar White Flowersoft to the fur of her hat, scarf and cuffs for some dimension. I then fussy cut around the image.
The backing papers have all been designed by a friend Lozzy who runs the challenge "A Bit More Time to Craft" and if you take part in their challenge you will be in the running to win some digital papers as your prize. Lozzy also has some packs now available on CDs HERE. I have used papers from different paper packs: Vintage (plain blue), It's all Stripes, Micro Dots and Chain.
As the recipient will be a child I am always very cautious about what embellishments go on cards. I have therefore just added a stamped sentiment, ribbon and Nuvo crystal pearl drops.

Kym, this is so pretty. What a wonderful way to showcase this beautifully coloured image. Love the paper choices and the composition...great layering of patterns. I also really like the way you have fussy cut the image. It makes it look very dimensional. Thanks for playing along with The East Wind's For the Little Ones Challenge. How wonderful to see what you did with your prize image.
