Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog - Kym's Inspiration Post - Monday 9 February 2015

It is Monday and therefore time for me to show you an inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.
For this weeks' inspiration post I was given the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp called "Autumn Fantasy" to work with.
Despite the image being called "Autumn Fantasy" I made a Spring-like feel card.  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers.  I then used a little dotty See D's stamp with Versamark ink on the background, added some white embossing powder and heat set.  I then coloured in the background with a blue/green Promarker and rubbed off the pen over the embossed parts as that acted as a resist.  I then inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Mustard Seed and Rusty Hinge distress ink.
The backing papers I have used are from "The Classic" paper set from Buckwell Craft Supplies.  I even made the flowers by die-cutting circles from a backing paper with circles on it.

I have finished off the card with some die-cut leaves from a book and coloured with Tim Holtz's Crushed Olive and Rusty Hinge distress ink, Tim Holtz doiley die cut out of kraft card with yellow/white twine threaded through, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiments, die-cut butterflies, brads, 10mm antique gold satin ribbon, 25mm gold organza ribbon and 25mm ivory Veletta ribbon.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly - Anything goes and optional extra to use bookprint or newsprint
Creative Moments - Anything goes/love
Scrapper's Delight - Always anything goes
Ruby's Rainbow - Soon be Spring
Word Art Wednesday - Anything goes

Get Well Soon Ellenor

My niece is due to have surgery today so I have made this card to cheer her up.  I have used my Polkadoodles Work and Play 1 CD for the topper and backing papers.  I decided to make an easel card - easy to make but not to photograph!!  I have done lots of matting and layering to get some depth to the card as it was being hand delivered.

I have finished the card off with a sentiment off the computer, card candi, ribbon and button.

I hope my niece likes her card along with the sweets and chocolates she has to enjoy when she's at home recovering from her surgery.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Hazelnut Patterned Paper February Challenge - Anything goes
Word Art Wednesday - Anything goes
Crafty Calendar - Anything goes
Sentimental Sundays - Seeing red (a little or a lot)
Bunny Zoe's Challenge - For the girls
