Delicious Doodles and Delicious Darkness

Just a reminder

Delicious Doodles images can be found in the Delicious Doodles Store.  There is a vast array of wonderful images there.

If you prefer images that are on the darker side these can be found at the Delicious Darkness Store.

There is also a weekly Delicious Doodles challenge.  Pop on over to the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog EVERY FRIDAY to see what the new what the new challenge is and to see the Design Team inspiration.  You don't have to use a Delicious Doodles image to enter but you get an extra entry to win the weekly prize if you do so that is a good incentive!!

If you fancy a challenge on the darker side you could enter the Delicious Darkness Monthly Challenge.  Pop on over to the blog for the rules and the topic for the month.

If you use Facebook then there is both a Delicious Doodles Facebook Group and a Delicious Darkness Facebook Group where you can add the creations you make using Delicious Doodles images and there is sometimes competitions as well.

Bearly Mine Design and the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenge Blog

Just a quick reminder to say that Bearly Mine Designs digital papers are available from the Bearly Mine Designs Store.  Here you will find a wonderful selection of papers.  If you look there are also some freebies so you can "try before you buy".

Every month there is a challenge over at the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenge Blog.  If you pop on over to the challenge blog you will find out details of the challenge and see inspiration from the Design Team.

Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps and Inspiration Blog - Post by Kym - Monday 13 October 2014

The ever so talented Ching-Chou Kuik has an Etsy Store where she sells her digital stamps.  She had a Design Team call for some new crafters to join her Design Team to help promote her stunning images.  I was lucky enough to be chosen.  Since then an "Inspiration and Monthly Challenge Blog" has been set up and I have now got the role of Design Team Leader.

There will be a monthly challenge on the blog starting on the 1st day of every month.

Every few days you will see inspiration from the Design Team.  On some days we will be showcasing cards that are entered into the challenge as well as cards/creations posted on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group.  You will also see details of new releases or offers.

Today is the day for me to show you my inspiration card.

For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp called "Spooky Blue".  I'm not sure why but I went with the idea of the images side by side.  I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens.  I have used my Tim Holtz distressing tool around the edge, inked with Tim Holtz's Black Soot distress ink and then added some blue Stickles glitter glue around the edge.

I have used some blue backing papers from the Bearly Mine Designs "Halloween Fantasy" set.

I have got a piece of card, covered with double-sided tape, laid on top some crumpled up tissue paper and then added the same blue Stickles glitter to it as the image.

I have used my Tim Holtz rosette die and made two large rosettes.

I have finished the card off with some fibres, buttons and sentiment off the computer.

Delicious Doodles Challenge - 10 October 2014 - Christmas in October

It is Friday and therefore time for another challenge over at the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog.  This week the topic is "Christmas in October".  yes Christmas seems a long way off still but it will soon be upon us so it's handy to get some Christmas cards made now.

For my card I have used the Delicious Doodles image called "Snow Cuddles".  Now who wouldn't want to give that cute little polar bear a cuddle?  I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens.

  

 

For my card I have used the Bearly Mine Designs paper sets called Mini Dots, Pastel Christmas and Plain and Simple.

I have finished the card off with some die-cut snowflakes which I have coloured with a light blue Pan Pastel, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment, lots of gems and some gorgeous light blue organza ribbon (I've used soooooo many different organza ribbons over the years but this outshines all the rest in quality.  It is available at Buckwell Craft Suuplies).

Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog and Gruffies and Guests Facebook Group

Every month there is a new challenge over at the Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog.  

To enter the challenge you must use a House Mouse, Gruffies or Happy Hoppers image.

Pop on over to the Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog to see the topic of the challenge and to see inspiration from the Design Team.

The Design Team on the Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog is split up into two teams.  Team A will show you their creations on the 1st day of the month.  Team B will show you their creation on the 15th day of the month.  This means that there is a good excuse to pop on over to the Challenge Blog at least twice a month to see the inspiration from the Design Team.

If you use Facebook why not pop on over to the Gruffies and Guests Facebook Group.  Here you can have a good natter and show your House Mouse, Happy Hoppers and Gruffies creations.
