Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 13 April 2018

 Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "USE YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR".

This week the Design Team were challenged to the topic "Monochrome".

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamps image called "Spring Nocturne" (this can be found in a set along with "Spring Night", "Fantasy Easter Ocean" and "Spring Twilight").  After a lot of debate with myself I decided to go with a pink monochrome theme.  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and chalked around the background.

The backing papers are from a Papermania Spots and Stripes - Pastels paper collection.

I have finished the card off with raffia style ribbon, die-cut flowers, bird cage and birds, stamped sentiment and some pearls.

Promarkers used: 

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal 

Dress - Salmon Pink and Antique Pink

Hair - Dusky Rose, Pastel Pink and Coral

Bird - Blush and Cocktail Pink

Flowers - Fuchsia Pink, Cerise, Pink Carnation and Antique Pink.

As You Like It - Favourite colouring medium and why (I do like using different colouring mediums but I mainly go for Promarkers alcohol pens.  I have dexterity problems with my hands and therefore struggle having to use more pressure with pencils whereas with my pens a light touch is all that is needed)
