It is the first day of the month and therefore time for another challenge over at the Bearly Mine Designs Challenge Blog. This month the topic is "Christmas cards". It's amazing to think Christmas will soon be upon us. It doesn't seem five minutes since I was watching the London firework display on the TV to celebrate the New Year.
For my card I have used the Delicious Doodles image called "Christmas Lantern". I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens, highlighted areas with my white Graph'it pen and also my Gold Sparkle Graph'it pen. I have inked around the imaged with Tim Holtz's Peeled Paint distress ink.
The backing papers I have used are Bearly Mine Designs "Christmas Fun". I have used a new Tim Holtz Christmas die to cut holly/sprigs and a fir cone out of the "Christmas Fun" and "Plain and Simple" papers from Bearly Mine Designs.
I have finished the card off with some card candi, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and some gorgeous green satin ribbon from Buckwell Crafty Supplies.
