When I saw this image about in Ching-Chou Kuik's Etsy store I just had to have it. The image is called "Papillon". It reminded me so much of a friend's chihuahua she lost a few years back so I used my Graph'it pens to colour the image to look like my friend with Chi-Chi. It took some time to get the colouring right but I got there in the end and was pleased with the end results. Around the image I used a See D's dotty stamp and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz's Peeled Paint distress ink.
I recently bought a lovely Tim Holtz doily die so this has been cut and inked with Tim Holtz's Tumbled Glass distress ink and I have threaded through some pink satin ribbon.
The backing papers I have used are a freebie from a magazine and are by Nitwits.
I have finished the card off with some crochet lace, stick pins, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and a flower made out of tissue paper, scrunched and some Stickles added to it.
