Sun, Sea and Sand - Get Well Soon

This is the card I made for my uncle as he was due to have an operation on his back on 18 December 2013.  Ironically that was the same day as my shoulder operation.  Sadly I got my operation but his was cancelled.  His operation is due today - so fingers crossed it goes ahead this time.  Ironically it's the same day as I am due back to work after my operation.

For my card I have used backing papers, design sheets and decoupage from a Debbi Moore magazine I got a while ago.  I've now bought the Shabby Chic Seaside CD so I shall images of the seaside to use over and over again.  I have finished the card off with a sentiment off the computer, shells cut from a backing paper and some tiny little buttons.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday - Anything goes
Creative Fingers - Anything goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything goes
Totally Papercrafts - One for the boys
Crafts 4 Eternity - Tic-tac-toe (blue, buttons and white)

How is your shoulder? I think about you often Kym and hope things are progressing smoothly. A day at the beach sounds quite fun about now, the warm sun and fresh sea breeze. Great layout. Thank you for posting with us this week at Word Art Wednesday.

This is fantastic. Makes me think of the beach while it's freezing cold out here...LOL Love this! So glad you shared your wonderful art with us this week at Word Art Wednesday. We started a new Challenge so, hope you come join us again. Leaving you with God's Word in Galatians 5:1, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."

God bless always,

Hi Kym
I owe you an explanation
(This message you can erase, I do not have your mail)
When we got home from work
husband picks up mail from the mailbox
and tells me that I have a letter and if he open it.
I said that he can and so sorry your letter opened.
I was very surprised and happy, that I must wrote :-))
I can be quiet and wait 25 February, but .....

Do not be mad at me!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks again
I wish you a nice day
Hugs, Andreja
