17th Birthday Card

Today sees my youngest son celebrating his 17th birthday - yikes I am now a mum to a 17 year old and a 21 year old and I am not even 44!!!
The word on the front spells the word "basketball" and I have added suitable items for each letter - not that my son will think so!!  This took me hours and hours to do.
Our youngest son has a passion for basketball and his favourite team is the Indiana Pacers.  I'm not sure where his love of basketball came from as it's not very common over here in the UK.
I have made a multi-fold card - not sure what you would call it apart from "a nightmare to photograph!!" - to show off the images of the Indiana Pacers Basketball Team.
The basketball backing paper I have used is from the Debbi Moore Designs Sports Bears CD.
All the number 17's have been done in Word, cut out, inked around the edges before putting them on.  That certainly was a labour of love.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Top Tip Tuesday - Get in shape
Ruby's Rainbow - Team spirit
The Paper Shelter - A card with many folds
Word Art Wednesday - Anything goes
Whimsy Stamps - Masculine
Inspire me Friday - Anything goes

The Squirrel and the Fox - Happy birthday
Glitter n Sparkle - Male cards

Isn't it amazing what we do for our children! This is a fabulous project and it must have taken you hours to compose. The composition is fabulous and pristine! Nowhere do you get a sense of clutter. Very, Very, nicely done! Thanks for leaving this on our front porch here at 613 Avenue Create!
