Happy Easter

This might be my last scheduled post for some days.  I am due to have oral surgery on Monday 17 March 2014.  I've had the same procedure twice before and my face swells up, I barely want to move my head and certainly don't want to talk because of the stitches in my mouth so I don't think I'll be crafting!!
I decided to make this bright and cheery card to brighten up my blog.  Yes it's green again.  Not sure what is going on!!  The image I have used for the cards is by the very talented Teri over at Delicious Doodles.  It is called "Easter Chick".  Isn't he so cute??  I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens and did the "out of the die" technique for the chick's wings.
I have used my Spellbinders die to cut the image and also a bigger die in the set to make the actual card and the layers.

For my shaped card I have used the Bearly Mine Mini Dots and Plain and Simple papers.

I have finished the card off with lots and lots of punched flowers cut from the backing papers, sentiment off the computer, seam binding ribbon and an Easter charm which I have had for years and years.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
