Here is my inspiration post with this theme.
For my under the sea birthday card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Message in a Bottle" (she is from the Mermaid Set and comes along with 9 other images). I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and doodled a frame around the edge.
The backing papers are from The Works and I have torn these layers and inked around the edges.
I have finished the card with some ribbon, stamped sentiment, different die-cut shells and seaweed and some pearls.
The Promarkers that I have used are:
Face/skin/message/sand - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Burnt Sienna and Terracotta
Mermaids - EAmethyst, Purple, Burnt Sienna and white Posca pen
Bottle - Tan and Cocoa.
