Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge - Friday 6 December 2013 - It's cold outside

It is Friday and time for another challenge over at the Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge.

This fortnight the topic is "it's cold outside" - which it certainly is for some areas around the world!!

This fortnight it is time for Team B to show you their cards/creations but some of Team A like me have decided to play along as well.
For my alternative colour scheme card for this time of year I have used the Sweet Pea Stamps image by Joanne Schempp called "Ice Ice Baby".  It is available as a digital stamp and as a single rubber stamp.
I have coloured my image in with my Promarkers/Flexmarkers and highlighted areas with Stickles glitter glue to replicate snow falling all around.  The backing papers are from my stash.  I have finished the card off with some die-cut snowflakes coloured with a yellow Pan Pastel, Papermania Glitterations and a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge - Winter Wonderland

Love your use of non-traditional colors for a Christmas card. Wonderful color scheme and design. Thanks for blessing us with your artwork this week at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with God's Word in Proverbs 18:10 which says, "The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." God bless, always!
