Route 66

I was asked by my husband to make a card for someone at his workplace who wasn't well and had a very difficult road ahead to get better.
The card had to be large enough for 150-200 staff to sign so I did an 8x8 concertina card with matching box.
For the card I have used the Debbi Moore "Cards for Men" CD and decided to use the motorbike image/Route 66 (I thought the Route 66 was appropriate as the gentleman has a long road to recovery and that according to Wikipedia Route 66 is 2,448 miles long).
I have inked around all the papers and toppers.  It's a long process for such a big card but I personally hate to see white/cream showing through.
I finished the card off very simply as if you put too much on by the time it's been around so many people to sign it can look haggered.
I was told by my husband's colleagues I chose the perfect image and words for the card - not bad considering I don't know the recipient!!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Beautiful design! I doubt that you could have found a more appropriate group of design elements. Very cohesive and beautifully executed. I am sure this will provide many "miles" of comfort to the recipient. Well Done, Well Done! Thanks for dropping this wonderful project into our mailbox here at 613 Avenue Create!
