Sweet Pea Stamps - Teresa Sherman - La Rosa Meurta

I was asked to make this card.  I certainly struggled as I very rarely do "darker" cards but I was told I did a fantastic job!!!  I have used a Sweet Pea Stamps image by Teresa Sherman.  It is called "La Rosa Meurta" and is available as a single rubber stamp and as a multi-image stamp (Sheet 7, Plate 216 - La Rosa Meurta comes on the multi-image sheet with Goth Guy, Loves Faded Memory and Skeletal Candle Holder).

I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers/Flexmarkers and highlighted the face with Pan Pastels and inked around the image with Tim Holtz's Black Soot distress ink.  The backing papers are from Summertime Designs.  I have gone over the spiders and added dots with a Versamark pen and then put over clear embossing powder to add a shine to the spiders and to replicate splatters on the backing paper.  I have finished the card off with some fibres, gems, die-cut flower inked with Tim Holtz's Black Soot and Fired Brick distress ink and a sentiment from Debbi Moore's Twilight 2 Dark Worlds CD.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
