This is my first commissioned card in a long time as I had to take some time out to sort out things in relation to my late mum. I was asked to make a card for a lady's friend who likes a tipple and the colour blue. Obviously a Bugaboo image sprung to mind. She is called Ruby Tidbits - Tequila. She looks quite a character doesn't she? I have coloured the image with Promarkers and followed a tutorial by the ever so talented Coops for adding a dotted texture around an image. I didn't have khaki so I had to use satin so mine has come out a bit differently but I like the effect. For my card I have followed the CRAFT Challenge sketch. The backing papers are Papermania and plain cardstock and dark blue vellum. I cut the image out with a Nestabilities die. The card is finished off with some star gems. gingham ribbon, circle brad and a Craftwork Cards sentiment. Te feedback for the card - the recipient was in stitches when she saw the card and had many a tale to tell about tequilas!!!!
