It was time to bring out my new Miss Anya Love stamps that I bought with some of my Christmas money. They are such little darlings. The colour combo - which I was totally unsure about for the colouring of the Miss Anya images was determined by the Passion for Promarkers challenge this week - Aegean, Sky Blue and Cool Aqua - I had to buy in the Aegean (I had to be put in thumb screws for that ......... not!!) and when I laid all three out together I thought "oh no". Boy was I wrong. The three colours in my opinion work so well together and the Aegean has become one of my favourites now so thanks to their Guest for last week Emma for picking this colour combo.
I have used DCWV Christmas paper pad leftovers for the card - but this one was stripes and swirls - some star card from the box on the table as well. The box is going down well and I am determined to keep on going using up all the lovely stuff in there. I have used an Quick Kutz embossing folder for the background of the frame as a friend bought it and of course I had to give it a trial run. The card is finished off with some flowers from the papers using an X-cut flower punch, card candy, star peel-offs and a sentiment from the computer.
This card fits the following challenges:
Anyone for Anya - Flower Power
Passion for Promarkers - Aegean, Sky Blue and Cool Aqua
Lexi's Creations - Spotted or stripes
Incy Wincy Designs Challenge Blog - Punch it out
Frosted Designs - Use a star on your card.
