The inspiration for this card was the Cute Daisy May Challenge this week as the topic was "lavender and lace". I won some thick lace in some blog candy last year and thought that would work well with this fairy image. Dilemma was that it was green and white so guess what .............. out came my purple Promarker and the white and green was no more and various shades of purple came into being. I have coloured the Cute Daisy May image with Promarkers but highlighted areas for a bit of dazzle with my Sakura Stardust clear pen (no 700). I have used Dusty Concord Distress Ink pad and cut-and-dry foam and distressed the edges of the picture mount and finished off the edge with a purple Promarker. I have used Daisy and Dandelion backing papers from off the table as I've had them since Daisy and Dandelion first came out and never used so a few deep breaths and I cut it. Instead of the bits left over going in the box again I decorated the inside with them. The card is finished off with a glittery butterfly, some dazzling gems, some fabric hearts (they were all lavender but two I coloured a bit deeper with promarkers of course!!) and a ticket sentiment from Crafty Ann's Digi Store.
