My Mum last week-end kindly looked after our boys so that my husband and myself could go away to Blackpool for my 40th. Obviously I wanted to make her something special and saw a show some weeks back by Sheena Douglas and knew what I wanted to do. These are canvasses that I have inked with four different green and brown Distress Inks and Adirondak Inks, I have used a U-mount crackle stamp and inked the edges, the images are from Elusive Images and I have coloured them with Cosmic Shimmers, inked the edges and then crackled them as well. They have taken many hours to make as I'm not experienced at things like that. I'm not sure I'm happy with them - maybe it's because there is too much green and I don't like green - but as it is my Mum's favourite colour I chose that colour. I shall see tomorrow what she thinks of them.
