Oh my goodness. I've never made a card suitable for 11 such varied challenges but I have managed it. I'm going to the Stamp Addicts Open Day tomorrow. At their last one Jennie (The Artistic Stamper) kindly showed my friend and I how to use alcohol inks and distress embossing powders so I thought I'd have a go at using them and take the card to show Jennie.
For the card I have used some of my own cardstock, some Summer Driggs papers, an Eye Monster downloaded from "Lost in Paper Scraps", some ribbons and some fibres. The image has been coloured in with some new Promarkers that I got with some of my birthday money. Think I need a bit more practice with them but it's fun playing. The background of the tag is alcohol inks and then I've used a Brilliance ink pad and then one of U-mounts new stamps - the crackle - as I thought it was a bit like a spider's web!!!
The card fits the criteria for the following challenges:
Allsorts - Halloween
Digital Tuesday - Halloween
Cute Card Thursday - spook fest
Dare U to Digi Stamp - yellow, orange and black or white
Friday Sketchers - the card is set out using their sketch
Crafty Cardmakers - ribbons and fibres
Papertake Weekly Challenge - The Dark Side
Paperplay - Favourite embellishment - for me this ribbon/fibres
Charisma Cardz - it's so distressing - I have distressed the edge of the black card used but I have also used Tim Holtz' distress embossing powder and distressed by rubbing off the excess after it has been heated - that doesn't half hurt your finger!!!
Papercutz Challenge - use a tag or make a tag
Ooh La La Creations - use three shapes.
