This is a card I made for someone at work who has got a new job.  I have used these beautiful butterflies and flower image from a Joanna Sheen Jody Bergsma paper pad (sadly this paper pad does not seem to be on their website anymore).  I have cut out the flower and butterflies and decoupaged up.

I have finished the card off by adding glitter glue to the wings of the butterflies, added some seam binding ribbon, a stamped sentiment and some gems.

Best Wishes and Your're the Best

Here are two cards that I have made using a Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamp called "Love Barn Owl".  I started off with painting over the image with Pebeo drawing gum to mask off the owl and greenery.

I then scribbled various Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Aqua pens onto my glass mat, spritzed with water and then swooshed the card into the ink/water.  Once dry I rubbed off the drawing um which came off easily.  A previous one I had when you rubbed it rubbed holes in your card.

I then coloured the image in with my Promarkers.

For the red card I have used various red papers from my stash, added a Craftwork Cards sentiment  and some die-cut feathers.

For the purple card I used papers from my stash that have been designed by my friend Lozzy.  I finished the card off with a Cherry Lynn border (I haven't used this for ages and ages as no matter how many times I put it through my Grand Calibur it would never cut properly.  One pass through my Gemini and all the bits fell out!!), Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and some die-cut feathers.
Promarkers used:

Red card - Khaki, Cocoa, pastel Beige, Saffron, Vanilla, Bright Green and Meadow Green and Burnt Sienna
Purple card - Khaki, Sandstone, Tan, Pastel Yellow, Raw Sienna, Bright Green, Meadow Green.

I am entering these two cards into the following challenges:

Lemon Shortbread Challenge - Tuesday 30 January 2018

Welcome to another challenge over at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.

The challenge this fortnight is "anything goes".
For my bright and cheery card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "60s Love and Peace" and I have coloured the image in with Promarkers.

I have used various odds and ends of papers to make this card.  I had a DCWV paper pad which I've not used for a while.  One of the papers had a paisley print with a light blue background so I have coloured two in with my Yellow Promarker and two with my Amber Promarker and fussy cut around as they match the paisley print of this girl's dress.

I have finished the card with some ribbon, die-cut sentiment and some gems.

Promarkers used:

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal
Hair - Raw Sienna, Spice and Cocoa

Happy 80th Birthday to a Very Special Friend

It is a friend's 80th birthday today so she needed a very special card.  Off I went to look through my Debbi Moore CDs and I decided upon using my "Art Deco Roaring 1920s" CD.
I love this CD and would have loved to have been around to wear clothes like this!!  I decided to make an A4 gatefold card so I used various backing papers, decoupage, toppers and an insert to decorate the front, inside and back of the card.
I have finished the card off with a fastener, flowers from the CD and a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment.
