Colour Crazy Challenge Blog - Guest Designer - Friday 10 November 2017

 It is time for another challenge over at the Colour Crazy Challenge and I have made a Christmas card in my role as Guest Designer.

 This week the challenge is sponsored by the company "All Dressed Up" and is "anything goes".

 For my card I have used the All Dressed Up image called "Christmas Present".  Yes the image has been designed for Christmas but it could be used for a birthday as well.

I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and added Stickles glitter glue to the fairy's wings and the tag.  I think it is a must for fairies to have some glitter on their wings!!

The two green backing papers are from a pad from The Works.  The present wrapping paper is from a Creative Crafting World Yuletide CD that I won recently in a challenge.

I have finished the card off with a Craftwork Cards sentiment, satin ribbon and some gems.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 10 November 2017

  Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "CHRISTMAS".

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

  I decided to make a Christmas card.  I have used the imaged called "Poinsettia Fairy" (this image comes in a set of three other images called "Holly Fairy", "Cherish Christmas" and "Merry Season").  I have coloured my image in with my Promarkers and added Stickles glitter glue to the centre of the poinsettias and Crafter's Companion clear sparkle overlay to her wings.

The backing papers are from my stash.

I have finished the card off with a stamped sentiment and some gems.  As postage is so high and with so many cards to post a Christmas time it is sad that we need to keep cards so flat.

Lemon Shortbread Challenge - Tuesday 7 November 2017

 It is time for another challenge over at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.

The theme is "anything goes".

 For my Christmas card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "Miss Santa".  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and added Stickles glitter glue to her hat, jacket and dress and some white dots to her shopping.

The backing papers I have used are from some Debbi Moore Inspiration Magazines.

I have finished the card off quite plainly as postage is high and have simply added a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and some gems.

For my Christmas card I have used the Oddball Art Co image called "Holiday Alex".  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and I have added Stickles glitter glue to her hat.

Due to the cost of postage I have finished the card of simply with some die-cut snowflakes and added Stickles glitter glue to them and a sentiment from a Creative Crafting World Christmas CD.

Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group November 2017 Challenge - Get Ready for Winter and Christmas

 Today is the start of the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Facebook Group Monthly Challenge.

The topic for the challenge this month is "GET READY FOR WINTER AND CHRISTMAS".

I decided to play along with their challenge this month.

 For my Christmas card I have used one the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp called "Wreath of Nature".  I have coloured the image in with Promarkers.  I have highlighted areas with my Crafter's Companion clear sparkle overlay pen and then fussy cut the image.

The backing papers I have used Hobbycraft Heritage paper pad for the two background papers and a piece of green glitter paper from Hobbycraft Glitter Galore paper pad.

To keep the card flat for postage I have simply finished the card off with some wide organza ribbon and some gems

 It is Friday and therefore time for another challenge over at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog where I am a Guest Designer.

The topic is "anything goes".

The sponsor for this weeks' challenge is Star Stampz.

 For my decorated gift bag I have used the Star Stampz image called "Santa's letter".  I have coloured my image in with my Promarkers and highlighted areas with Stickles glitter glue.

The backing papers are from The Works.  The 12x12 paper pad was marked as £3 but when I went to the tills it came up as £1.50.  What a bargain?  She said maybe it was last years' paper pad.  Would anyone know it was last years' paper pad?  I shall certainly use these for lots and lots of Christmas cards.  The papers are double-sided so if you don't like one side you always have the option of using the other side.

I have finished the decorated bag off with die-cut poinsettia, Sue Wilson die-cut greenery cut in gold and a sentiment from a Creative Crafting World Christmas Papers CD.

Lemon Shortbread Challenge - Tuesday 24 October 2017

 It is time for another challenge over at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.

The topic is "anything goes"

Here is my card as inspiration with this theme.

 I thought I'd better get on and make some more Christmas cards.   For this card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "Poinsettia Shoujo" and I have coloured the image in with Promarkers, added Stickles glitter glue to the centre of the poinsettias for some sparkle and the edge of her coat.  I have then fussy cut the image out.

The backing papers I have used are from Hobbycraft.

I have finished the card off with a Tim Holtz rosette with a brad centre, "Merry Christmas" ribbon and Nuvo pearl drops added to the ribbon and the background stamped with a holly stamp.
