I wondered why my two posts did not go "live" last week when we were away. I'd saved them as drafts and not published them - silly me eh? I am still getting used to doing things differently with Blogger.
I have made this birthday card for a friend. She is not really into birthdays and that is why it does not say "happy birthday".
I have used a decoupage sheet from a Debbi Moore's Inspiration Magazine. I thought this was a lovely calming image and also highlighted "getting on your bike" now that things are relaxing a bit more here in the UK.
The digital backing papers I have used are from Summertime Designs (sadly no longer available).
As I was able to hand deliver the card I could go a bit "over the top" with dimensional flowers.
I have finished the card off with some lace which I have threaded blue ribbon through, die-cut some butterflies from some scraps of backing papers I had, Sentimentally Yours die-cut tag, ribbon and a stamped sentiment.
