Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 14 September 2018

 Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "THE COLOURS OF FALL" eg red, brown and orange.

This week the Design Team were challenged to "PURPLELICIOUS" eg lots and lots of purple.

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

 For my card I have used one of the newer Ching-Chou Kuik digital stamps in grayscale called "Green Dragonfly" (she comes in a set along with Red Poppy and Merbutterfly Fairy Freedom).  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and went for a light/delicate colour scheme to match the pastel backing papers I used from a set from The Works.  I have added some Wink of Stella clear sparkle pen onto the dragonfly wings.  After mounting the image onto matching backing papers I used the purple Stickles around the layers to add a little bit more sparkle.

I have finished the card off with a die-cut banner at the bottom of the image, a piece of extra wide lace (which wasn't quite big enough so I folded in half and cut it and stuck a piece around the back and the front which left a gap which the image filled - I hope you can keep the secret but it is good to use scraps up like this!!), two different die-cut dragonfly dies used and I did two of each and added Ranger Distress Stickles in purple add down their bodies and finally a die-cut sentiment.

I know who this card is for as she likes purple just like me.  Fingers crossed she likes it!!

Hair - Cocoa, Raw Sienna and Cinnamon
Dragonflies - Soft Green, Mint Green and Raw Sienna
Background - Powder Blue, Amethyst, Purple, Plum, Pastel Beige and Khaki.
