Lemon Shortbread Challenge - Tuesday 2 January 2018

 Welcome to the first challenge on the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog for 2018.

We hope you had a good Christmas and New Year.

The challenge this fortnight is "anything goes".

 For my card I have used the Lemon Shortbread image called "Walking the dog".  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and chalked the background.

The backing papers are from my stash.  I used up soooooooooo many backing papers in 2017 and will continue to look in my scrap wallets first, then bought papers and then finally print off from the computer if I can't find anything suitable.  It certainly worked a treat in 2017 so I shall continue it again this year.

I put a piece of purple card through an embossing folder and used some Imagination Crafts Starlight Wax to highlight the embossing.

I have finished the card off with some grosgrain ribbon, star satin ribbon, die-cut flowers, doily, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and some pearls.

Promarkers used: 

Face/skin - Saffron, Spice and Oatmeal 

Hair - Sandstone, Khaki and Caramel

Jacket and shoes - Purple, Amethyst and Orchid

Dress, hairband and socks - Duck Egg, Cool Aqua and Denim Blue

Dog - Saffron, Caramel and Vanilla.
