Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Friday 18 November 2016

Here is my weekly inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog. 

Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "CHRISTMAS".

This week the Design Team have been challenged to "red or green or both".

Here is my inspiration post with this theme.

 For my card I have used a Ching-Chou Kuik image called "Autumn Trio".  I have coloured my image in with Promarkers and used Pan Pastels and ink for the background.

I normally use the combination of Caramel, Saffron and Vanilla for blonde hair but I made a right boo boo and was horrified when I realised I'd used Coral instead of Caramel.  I was pleased as to how it came out so my new blond colourway is Coral/Vanilla/Saffron.  A very happy accident!!

The backing papers I have used are from my stash.  I decided to go for the colour scheme of red and green and used a Crafter's Companion hexagon die for the sides of the image.

I have finished the card off with a sentiments, flowers and some Sue Wilson die-cut greenery.
