It is time for me to show you my Inspiration Post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.
Before I do I'd like to remind you that our challenge this month is "use something new".
This week the whole Blog Design Team have been given the challenge of "monochrome" for their inspiration post.
For my card I have used the Ching-Chou Kuik image called "greyhound". For monochrome I have usually used all pinks, purples, greens or browns but decided to really challenge myself and use shades of grey. I have coloured my image with Promarkers and inked around the edge with a chalk ink pad.
The papers are from my Creative Crafting World Perfect Papercrafting Companions CD. I put some mirri card through a Crafter's Companion hessian texture embossing folder.
I have used my Christmas present from my husband to make the flowers. I have used my Sue Wilson Camellia Complete Petals and the matching rubber stamp by John Lockwood for Creative Expressions. To finish the flowers off I add some grey Stickles glitter glue.
I have finished the card off with a die-cut sentiment, lace, ribbon and button.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
