Sweet Pea Stamps Guest Designer - January 2015 - Project No 2

Here is my second creation I have made as a Guest Designer for Sweet Pea Stamps.

I have used the image called "La Chica de Vitral" by Enys Guerrero.  It is available as a digital stamp.
I have decided to make a card that could be suitable for Valentine's Day which will be shortly upon us or for an anniversary etc.  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and did the background with a pink and red Pan Pastel.

The backing papers were from The Works.  This set included some glittery papers and was only £3 for the set of 8x8 papers.  There are no papers in them you couldn't use and you can easily ink the edges of the papers as it is a thick quality paper.

I have kept the colour scheme to red, pen and a bit of black for drama.

I have finished the card off with some stamped hearts using a Visible Image stamp, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment, black lace, brads, X-cut cogs die-cuts brushed with a red Pan Pastel, Cheery Lynn Hearts and Cogs die-cut cuts brushed with a red Pan Pastel and 10mm pink satin ribbon.

I am entering this creation into the following challenges:

613 Avenue Create - Anything goes or use a Winnie the Pooh quote
Come and Get It - Get your steampunk on
Bunny Zoe's - Hearts
The Pink Elephant - Love
Simon Says - Have heart
Penny's Paper Challenge - Anything goes
Inspiration Destination - Anything goes
Crafty Ribbons - Anything goes with ribbon
Aud Sentiments - Anything goes
Creative Fingers - Anything goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything goes
Wags n Whiskers - Hearts
Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenge - Anything goes with a twist to add layers
We Do Doobadoo - Romance
Sweet Pea Stamps Facebook Art Contest - Progressive Challenge Part One - Anything goes
Crafty Hazelnut Patterned Paper January Challenge - Anything goes

Newsflash - New image that now makes 100 images in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store

Today is a VERY SPECIAL day as it is the 100th image to go in Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store.
The new release is a paper doll stamp called "Forest Elf".  This first picture shows what you will get when you purchase the image.
This picture shows you what Ching-Chou Kuik has done with the image by colouring and cutting out (the speech bubbles have been added to the left hand side picture to protect Ching-Chou Kuik's work).

This has brought back memories to me as I remember having punch-out books of images/clothing/accessories as a child and I used to spend many a happy hour playing with them and changing their clothes/accessories.

Don't fotget the Monthly Blog Challenge is still running for January 2015 and the topic is "add some flowers and some ribbon".

If you enter a card/creation into the challenge you can e-mail me and I will arrange for the image "The Wild Princess" to be sent to you as a New Year freebie from Ching-Chou Kuik.

You MUST enter the challenge to be sent the free image.

Don't forget that if you use a Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamp from her Etsy Store you get two entries into the Blog Challenge.  For the first link-up use your blog post and for the second link-up just do your main blog.

Make sure you pop on over to the blog regularly.

Don't forget you still have chance to enter the Monthly Facebook Group Challenge.  The topic for January is the "World of Magic".  There is certainly plenty of images in the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Etsy Store that could be used for this challenge.
