Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge Blog - Kym's Inspiration Post - 6 October 2014

Last Wednesday you saw the start of a new monthly challenge blog over at the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge Blog.

If you pop on over there you will see the "rules for the challenge" - it has some very basic rules as we mainly want participants to have fun.

The first challenge topic is "anything goes" so an easy one for you to start off with.

As well as the challenge there will be inspiration throughout the month from the Design Team members and we will showcase cards/creations that are entered into the monthly challenge and the Facebook Group.
Today it is my turn to show some inspiration.  You will have seen my card when the challenge went "live" on 1 October 2014 but here it is again in more detail.

For my Halloween inspired card I have used the image from Ching-Chou Kuik's Etsy Store called "Big Pumpkin".  I have coloured my image in with my Graph'it pens and then added some Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Pearl Glaze (available at Buckwell Craft Supplies) over the pumpkin for some pearly sparkle.
The backing papers I have used are from Bearly Mine Designs and are called "Halloween Fantasy" and "Mini Dots".

I have finished the card off with organza sparkle ribbon, spider's web ribbon, Martha Stewart spider's web punch and Kenny K's freebie Halloween sentiment (on their shop website you will see on the left hand side about a September freebie).
