Bearly Mine Designs - Inspirational Post by Kym - October 2014

The Bearly Mine Challenge is now a monthly challenge and in between that time you will see every two days an inspirational project from a member of the Bearly Mine Design Team.

Today it is my turn to show you an inspirational project for the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenge Blog.

Here is a Halloween inspired card that I have made.  The image is by Ching-Chou Kuik and is called "Misty Reflections" and is available as a digital stamp and rubber stamp at Sweet Pea Stamps.  I have coloured the image in with Graph'it pens and used my Tim Holtz Black Soot distress ink around the image.

The backing paper is from the Bearly Mine Design set called "Halloween Fantasy".  I like this set of Halloween papers as you have the traditional Halloween colours of orange and black but then there are different colours like blues, reds and purples.

For underneath the image I have stamped with a Visible image large bat stamp from the "Edward is Immortal" set and also a crackle stamp by Sheena Douglass and cut out with a hexagon die.  On the backing paper I have stamped two lots of the cluster of bats from the "Edward is Immortal" set and heat embossed with a clear embossing powder for some extra shine and texture.

I have finished the card off with some Papermania Glitterations, Kenny K's September freebie sentiments and some cream Veletta textured ribbon from Buckwell Craft Supplies which I have coloured black with my Versafine ink pad.
