Another week has whizzed around and it is time for another challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges. This week the topic is "swirls and pearls".
We are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter and the prize on offer is a $20 gift certificate to The Paper Shelter Shop:
Isn't that a wonderful prize to win???
For my card I have used the Paper Shelter image called "a little bit grumpy". She's certainly very cute but oh so grumpy with it!!! I have use the pre-coloured version as it matched my colour scheme of pink and green perfectly.
The backing papers I have used are Bearly Mine Designs Rose's Dream, Mini Dots and The Boys Zone. I have distressed the edges of the papers and layers with chalk ink pads. The little fairy has been mounted onto some scallop die-cuts with the Tim Holtz clock around the edge which has been distressed the same colours as the papers. I have fussy cut the little fairy. The card has been finished with some swirls, butterflies and flowers cut out from the Bearly Mine spotty paper used for the card, lace, die-cut sentiment and quite a number of pearls.
