It's time for another challenge over at The Crafty Purple Frog Challenge. We had a lovely array of entries for the "hot red hot" challenge this fortnight. Click here to have a look at the winners.
The challenge this fortnight is "birthdays" and we are sponsored by Emma from Crafty Emma's Store. She sells a wonderful array of crafting items so why don't you go and have a look.
For my card I have used the beautiful decoupage sheet entitled "Silk Dance". For those that prefer pyromage/invertage it comes in that version as well. I have decoupage the image with Pinflair glue gel and mounted it onto some plain cardstock. The backing papers are from DCWV. I have embossed a piece of beige pealescent cardstock with a metal effect mask and distressed it a bit. The card is finished off with some new ric-rac ribbon that I got at the Open Day, sentiment off the computer, some decorations made with various punches and some pearl gems. As usual the card is finished off inside to match.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Totally Gorjuss - As you like it
Creative Card Crew - Anything goes
Scrap-creations - make a card and decorate the inside
Paper Shelter - Anything goes
Crafty Creations - Dies n punches (2 different round dies, flower die and corner rounder used on this card
