Well it's a few weeks since I had time to play with the Less is More Challenge. It's amazing how things can change with crafters as on a Saturday I would never have imagined it would be one of the first challenges I looked at. That's no disrespect to Chrissie and Mandi but more in the fact that I could never do "less is more" cards and love my embellishments be it flowers, gems, ribbon etc. This weeks' topic at the Less is More Challenge is a "touch of red".
Last year when I went to a friend's house we spent some time stamping out some images for me to use for my cards that I make for charity. Unfortunately, I am unable to tell you the make of this stamped image. Isn't she just gorgeous though? I would have loved to be around to wear hats like that. One card is finished off with a Happy Birthday sentiment and three black squares of peel-off waste and the second card is finished off with a "To a Special Friend" sentiment and four squares of peel-off waste. Both cards I have used the technique of using masking tape to transfer the peel-offs to ensure they stay in a straight line as no matter how I try I can sometimes get it wonky. Both of these cards I shall drop off with another batch to my local Marie Curie Shop next week and they can sell them for the Docrafts Craft for Life Appeal.
I am also entering this card into the following challenges:
