WOYWW - Wednesday 1 December 2010

Another week has come around and it's time for another What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW).  Click here to go and have a look at Julia's blog to find out details.

Here is a close up of my desk.  I finished off a few commissioned cards at the week-end so not much going on my desk apart from some planning of cards.  I had a little play with my ink dusters again at the NEC as I want to try a few Christmas cards with them - not sure how they'll turn out.  I collect Keel dogs but there are a few "alien" Keel toys ie a lion, two baby tigers and a cat - so today the two baby tigers wanted to come and say hello - the white one is called Snowie and the other is called Olly.  The drawer on the desk is my "bit box" which is diminishing fast and has scraps leftover from commissioned cards etc but they'll be used up.

Here is a close-up of some of my favourite drawers that seem to get opened all too much - one that I love to have a rummage in.

Thank you for all your lovely comments last week.  I did try to get to as many people as I could but things are very difficult at the moment so I could only do my best.  I've got a few days off this coming week so hopefully I'll get around to more blogs.

Lovely workspace, Kym. I like the way the cupboards sort of wrap around the desk, very handy. Hope you have a better week this week.

Ink dusters? Wondered what they were called, of course, first time I saw them on someone blog, I thought they were shaving brushes! (Ok, the ones I saw did in fact turn out to be old shaving brushes, so I wasn't really wrong!) Lovely crafty space as always, I still want one!! Happy WOYWW!!

There's that wonderful cupboard/desk! Those ink dusters remind me of my dad's old shaving brushes too! I bet they create a neat effect. Thanks for the visit!

Here I am trying to catch up after missing so much last week. It's always fun to use up your bits and bobs. They make room for new supplies. Happy nearly time for the next WOYWW (#3).

I'm just amazed at how much you can fit in that cabinet! I have favorite spots in my work area too! Seems like they might get worn out!
