My Mum asked me last week for a card for my husband for his birthday on Sunday. In the end as I needed to give it to her friend the next day I had to give her the card I'd planned for him of his beloved garden.

Joanna Sheen Card Swap
The topic for this months' Card Swap was a Country Garden. I looked on various CDs and came across this lovely CD and used My Craft Studio to make the backing paper, inserts and added embellishments.

The Magic of Christmas
I was recently lucky to be given the wonderful chance of making some samples for the My Craft Studio "Magic of Christmas" 4CD set. I was given the traditional, dimension and embellishments CDs and off I went. The only drawback I had was that there were far tooooooooooooo many lovely images and found it so hard to choose which ones to use. I have been counting the hours, after some very difficult weeks, to the launch of the CDs at 9.00pm last night. I warned my husband the TV was mine downstairs as I can't get cable upstairs but he sat and watched for quite a while with me. I can't really put into words what it meant to see my cards on the shows, especially one of them which Stephanie Weightman keeps picking up and showing. I have also enjoyed seeing what the other sample makes have made with the same CDs. I shall look forward to when I am able to get a new printer that will print on vellums and acetates as these looked wonderful. The CDs are so easy to use and the images are so nice and you have such a mix of different topics that I could easily have made 10 times the amount of cards that were needed.
I feel on top of the world at the moment seeing my cards on TV.
