Delicious Doodles Challenge - Friday 1 August 2014 - Anything Goes with a Delicious Doodles Image

 It is Friday and therefore time for another challenge over at the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog.

In July and August we have gone with a theme of "anything goes with a Delicious Doodles image" so are you ready to play along this fortnight?
I need to get a move on and make some more Christmas cards.  When it comes to Christmas cards I do like to see blues, pinks, silver and gold but my favourite colour scheme for Christmas cards is "red and green" so I have gone with this for my card today.

I have used the Delicious Doodles image called "Jolly Holly Postbox" and have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens, added highlights with my Wink of Stella clear pen and inked around the edge with my Tim Holtz Peeled Paint distress ink.

The backing papers are from a set a friend bought me for Christmas along with the border and sentiment.

I have finished the card off with some die-cut holly, pearls and a gingham bow.
