It is the first day of the month and therefore time for another challenge over at the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenges Blog. This month the topic is "anything goes". Well that is certainly a nice and easy topic for your to play along with.
For my card I have gone with a bright and cheery scheme for this get well soon card of kraft card, white and red.
The image that I have used is called "Hipster" and is by the ever so talented Krista over at Saturated Canary. I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers.
The backing papers I have used are from Bearly Mine Designs Christmas Traditions and Love Dreams (this set has been retired but if you want to purchase you can send Donna an e-mail to send you an invoice (see here for details)).
Looking at the name of the two sets I have used you would just think that they could be used just for Christmas or Valentine's Day/love/anniversary but as you can see my card isn't Christmas or Valentine's Day/love/anniversary. As I make my cards solely to sell to raise funds for different charities I source items carefully to make sure I will get good use of them first before purchasing. These two sets can be used all year round.
I have used various die-cuts on my card - a large Marianne Designs scallop shape, Joanna Sheen banner, Marianne Designs sentiment frame and a die that I got recently with a magazine with two different flowers on it.
I have finished the card off with some gingham ribbon, stamped sentiment, faux stitching, card candi and pearl dots.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
